Updates on Office Closure and Move Pending

Effective On 3-16-2020 Due to the COVID-19 Outbreak and State of Emergency in Missouri and Illinois as well as National.

Empowering Mind and Body balance will be moving all in-person services to telehealth basee services effective Monday 3-16-2020 till further notice. All clients moving forward will need to complete sessions via technology-based services until we are at my new office, the CDC, WHO and Health Departments are showing improvement, and per my professional discretion.

All currently scheduled counseling and Reiki sessions and open times via this website under the "Book Online" remain the same, just moving to virtual instead of in person till further notice.

I am available via phone call, FaceTime, SimplePractice’s TeleHealth or Zoom to complete sessions. I am always available via email at empoweringmindandbodybalance@gmail.com And my cell phone to call and text at: (816) 385-0900.

If you are a reiki client- all the same phone and video contact and session modes are available to you except Simple Practice, my counseling platform. Distance Reiki is just as powerful as in-person, just a different means.

This decision was made with serious research in real data from the CDC, WHO, local, state and federal health departments and agencies with the health interest of all clients, their family and loved ones, myself, and my family and loved ones. The COVID-19 virus has a longer life time of surviving on surfaces then the flu. I have read it can be contagious  1-3+ days per different official reports, while it is harder to spread it is possible. The CDC, Health Departments, and WHO’s recommendations are constantly being monitored and fluidly updated.  I will continue to keep you updated on any further restrictions, and if I do require phone/video only sessions until a CDC declares uplifting of restrictions and my own professional comfort that is reflective of local and state health department and federal CDC updates.  As always I am open to working with you on your comfort level as well even when I am able to offer office-based services. We will support each other and make it though this!

Another update:

After April 1st, 2020, I will be moving office locations. The office will most likely in the Chesterfield Valley and I will update you as soon as I have solidified an address. That said, I will not restart in-person sessions till further notice.  In the future I am also looking at collaborating at another secondary office once it is established closer to Clayton and Downtown. As updates are available I will gladly keep you informed via email if I have yours and this website.

PLEASE NOTE:

If any current or future client is unable to pay full or any price for sessions due to a work closure, disruption or let-off due to this pandemic I WILL work with you and anyone to ensure they are supported via my offered services via the means above. No one will be turned down based on ability to pay.
